Q. what makes pete’s support different?
A. As well as being a former 2:25 marathon runner, Pete has worked offering advice and guidance for most of his adult life. He combines his knowledge, qualifications & experience to provide a level of support which is structured, personal and tailored to how you work best.
Q. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EACH PACKAGE?
A. The two differences are the amount of one to one phone/Skype support and how frequently the plan is updated.
Q. DO YOU REALLY OFFER UNLIMITED EMAILS AND WHATSAPP CONTACT?
A. Yes. This support is designed to supplement the weekly, fortnightly or monthly phone/Skype support. Pete does not live on his phone but checks it daily.
Q. CAN I CANCEL WHEN I WANT?
A. Yes. Pete obviously hopes you stay and make progress but you pay in advance for the month so can simply cancel when that month comes to an end.
Q. HOW DO I GET MY COACHING PLAN?
A. You can choose to receive your coaching plan via online coaching platform Training Tilt or email.
Q. WHEN DO I GET MY COACHING PLAN?
A. You will receive your first training plan within 3 days of your initial 1 hour phone consultation.
Q. HOW DO I PAY?
A. Payment is made each month via bank transfer or direct debit.
Q. I HAVE NEVER RUN BEFORE CAN YOU STILL HELP ME?
A. Definitely. Pete can help you every step of the way. He understands that starting out is both a mental and physical battle and he looks at both sides in equal measure. He can answer all those running related questions and help you avoid the mistakes that lots of new runners make.
Q. why CAN’T I JUST GET A FREE TRAINING PLAN ONLINE?
A. You can, and there are lots out there! Pete’s support cuts through the confusion and offers so much more than a generic plan. A free training plan won’t, be specific to you, neither can it offer motivational support or phone you the day before a race to calm your nerves.
Q. CAN PETE TRAIN ME IN PERSON?
A. Yes. Pete offers one to one coaching at the same price as his sports massage. That is £30 for 30 minutes and £45 an hour. You do not need to be on a coaching plan to book this.
Q. WHAT IF I GET INJURED?
A. Pete’s support is designed to help you reduce your risk of injury by gradually increasing your training, but sadly no training plan or person is immune from injury. If you do sustain a long term injury you can simply cancel your plan at the end of the month and pick things up when you recover.
Q. CAN PETE ADVISE ME ON WHAT RACES TO RUN?
A. Pete has run races all over England and the world include big city marathons in London, Berlin, Valencia, Amsterdam & Barcelona. He is happy to advise on what races to do, how to enter and help you decide if you’re ready.
Q. CAN I UPGRADE MY PLAN AFTER I’VE STARTED?
Yes - If you feel you need that bit of extra support you can upgrade your plan at any point.
